Help and FAQ
Selling and prices
When can I start selling my skins?
We start buying skins on . Steam sign-in and skin sales open that day.
You can already check how selling works and which payout methods are available.
How much will I get for my skins?
You will see a price next to each skin we can buy. It depends on the item, its condition and market prices. Before confirming the sale, you can check the amount, currency and when the offer expires.
Our offer may differ from the Steam Community Market price. Money from sales on the Steam Market goes to your Steam Wallet and cannot be withdrawn to a bank account. With us, you can request a payout once your funds become available.
If the price does not work for you, you do not have to confirm the sale.
Which skins can I sell?
We buy selected Counter-Strike 2 skins that can be traded on Steam. Your inventory will show which ones we can buy. For the others, you will see why there is no offer.
Why is there no price next to an item?
If there is no price, we cannot buy that skin right now. It does not mean the skin is worth nothing. The status “Tradable” only means it can be traded on Steam.
Which currency will I be paid in?
You can choose PLN, USD, EUR or GBP in your account settings and check the currency before confirming a sale. All skins selected for one sale are sold in the same currency.
Changing this setting applies to future offers. It does not change the amounts or currencies of previous sales.
Money and payouts
How can I withdraw my money?
Through PayPal, Revolut, a bank transfer, or a payout to your Visa or Mastercard.
Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Tether (USDT) and TRON (TRX) are also available. For crypto payouts, check the wallet address and the network you have selected.
Once your funds are available, choose a method and request a payout from your account. Available methods depend on your country and currency.
What are the payout fees and minimum amount?
Fees and minimum amounts depend on the payout method. Check them before making a request. If you change currencies, also check the conversion cost.
When can I request a payout?
No sooner than 7 full days, or 168 hours, after we confirm receipt of your skins. Signing in, accepting a price or sending a trade offer does not start the countdown.
You will need to wait longer if the trade is still on hold or awaiting final confirmation. You can check the earliest date your funds may become available in the sale details.
When will the money reach my account?
Once your funds are available, choose a method and request a payout from your account. Money is not sent automatically.
The payout itself takes additional time after your funds become available. How long depends on the method you choose. The minimum 7 days does not mean the money will already be in your account by then.
What is the difference between “Pending” and “Available” balances?
Pending is money for skins we have received that you cannot withdraw yet. Once it becomes Available, you can request a payout.
An offer for skins you still hold on Steam does not add to your balance.
It has been 7 days. Why am I still waiting?
Check the reason in the sale details. The trade may still be on hold or awaiting final confirmation. Until then, the money stays “Pending”.
Will I get less if the skin's price drops?
No. Once the sale is approved, the amount stays the same even if the skin's market price falls. An offer for a later sale may be different.
What happens if a trade is reversed?
We will also reverse the payment for those skins. If the money has already been added to your balance, we will deduct it from your pending or available funds. You will see the change in your history.
If the funds were already available, we will pause payouts in that currency until we have checked the balance after the reversed trade.
Can I sell more skins while waiting for my money?
Yes, if they have an available offer. We calculate the waiting period separately for each sale. Selling more skins does not extend the wait for money from a previous sale. You do not need to stay signed in while you wait.
Inventory
I cannot see my skins. What should I do?
On Steam, open “Edit Profile”, then “Privacy Settings” and set your inventory to public. Your profile and inventory have separate privacy settings.
Open Steam privacy settings (new tab)
Come back here and choose “Refresh inventory”. If your skins still do not appear, check the message next to your inventory. Steam may be temporarily limiting access.
Why is my inventory taking so long to load?
We are waiting for Steam to respond. If inventory access is temporarily limited, we will show a message and try again. You do not need to sign in again or keep clicking refresh.
Why do I see fewer items than on Steam?
Steam does not always make every item in your account available to us. We show the ones we could load. If the counts differ, you will see a message above the list.
What does “Tradable” mean?
According to the latest data from Steam, you can send this item in a trade. To sell it to us, you also need an offer with a price.
What is a Trade URL and where do I find it?
Your Trade URL is the link for receiving trade offers on Steam. You add it before trading. You do not need it to view your inventory.
Find your Trade URL on Steam (new tab)
Copy the link and save it in your CashMySkins account settings. Your skins stay with you until you confirm the trade.
Steam account
Do I need to create a new account?
No. You use your Steam account. You do not need to create a separate password or provide an email address to view your skins.
Does CashMySkins receive my Steam password?
No. You enter your password and Steam Guard code only on the official Steam website. Steam tells us which account you are signing in to. Sending your skins requires a separate trade confirmation.
Why can I not sign in yet?
Steam sign-in opens on . Until then, the button shows our launch details.
